Fifteen years after the spectacular worldwide success of the first album by the Tribalistas, Marisa Monte, Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown are getting together again for a new musical adventure. The new album will arrive by the end of ths month on digital platforms.

Accompanied by musicians Dadi, Cézar Mendes and Pedro Baby, Tribalistas performed their new songs Diáspora, Um Só, Fora da Memória and Aliança. The trio also answered a few questions sent live by fans and Spotify and explained why it took them 15 years to release a new project.
From today on, the first four singles were made available in Spotify and all digital platforms worldwide. The videos of the four songs, directed by Dora Jobim, can be watched on Itunes/Apple Music and Facebook. The group, in a partnership with Spotify and Facebook, also developed specially for the release an exclusive mobile interactive tool that innovated the digital music consumption: the Hand Album. Whoever access any of their pages on the social network via smartphone will find in a single environment all content related to the songs: lyric videos, chords, production credits, backstage photos and videos excerpts in vertical format. The tool also allows the user to access Spotify to listen the songs.
Released in 2002, the first CD/DVD od Tribalistas reached a more than 3 million sales mark and soon became a phenomenon in many countries around the world - notoriously in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, United States and Colombia.

After revealing four new songs on a Facebook Live broadcast on August 9th, brazilian supergroup Tribalistas have made available their new and also self-titled album on all digital platforms this Friday, 08/25.
In syntony with the digital revolution ocurred during the 15 years that make apart the release of the trio's first album, Marisa Monte, Arnaldo Antunes e Carlinhos Brown have kept an open dialogue with their audience. The new album was announced on a surprise live performance, on which they revealed four brand new songs: Diáspora, Aliança, Um só e Fora da memória. The Live broadcast happened on each of the three artists' and also on Spotify's Facebook pages and had an audience of 5,62 million followers on 52 countries, including Brazil, the whola Latin America, USA, France, Spain, Japan, Russia and Pakistan.
The success was immediate. According to Spotify data, the four singles' release has the best performance on the MPB genre since the platform first launched on Brazil, in 2014. All 4 tracks were also directly charted on Top 100 Spotify in Brazil and there was also an increase of 65% on the band's monthly listeners numbers on the platform. If only audiences between 23 and 27 years old are accounted for, the growth was of over 73%. Brazil surely was the country with most hits, followed by Spain, USA, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Mexico, Chile, UK and Colombia.
Besides the songs, four videos were also released, directed by Dora Jobim and they already amount to over 12 Million views, if the lyric videos are also considered.
The Hand Album - a mobile only interactive tool designed solely for the Tribalistas new album release - has already over 15 Million hits. The platform was developed on a partnership by Facebook, Spotify and the artists to make more complete the music consumption on digital. Whoever accesses it through the Facebook app on their smartphone will find on a unique environment of contents related to the album: lyric videos, musical numbers, credits, studio photos and a preview of the videos. The Hand Album also allows the user to access Spotify to hear the album and watch the videos on vertical format.
Released on 2002, the first Tribalistas' CD/DVD sold over 3 Million CD/DVD copies and was an instant hit not only in Brazil but also on many countries around the world, notably in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Argentina.
